As part of the Ontario Independent Electricity System Operator registration process, Market Participants are required to install an approved RTU at their electrical facility. The GE D20 and D25 are two such approved RTU’s as per the IESO Technical Reference Manual.

Virelec is the Value Added Reseller (VAR) for GE in Ontario and has implemented a number of IESO Market Participant RTU installations using these products.
- Engineering for interfacing to the plant instruments and status points and controls.
- Supply of the RTU in a cabinet together with power supplies, modems and panel wiring to terminal blocks and communications cabling.
- Testing and site commissioning.
